Our stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms had a musty aroma that affected our children's clothing, but we didn't hear any road noise or noise from adjacent rooms. The Courtyard staff was accommodating when we requested a new room reminiscent of the 'New York subway' standing room.

The hotel was just what we needed for our stay, not a luxury hotel but had everything we required. The rooms were not as clean as expected but were spacious with a pull-out couch. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The location was great as it allowed us to walk to Universal Studios and was close to everything we needed. The dining was plentiful with a good variety available. Overall, a good value for money option.
